Respect artists and listeners

Eco Music is built around independent music discovery. Treat other people with respect and do not use the platform to harass, threaten, intimidate, discriminate against, stalk, or deliberately humiliate others.

Be genuine

Do not impersonate another person, artist, label, organisation, or rights holder. Artist names, biographies, credits, artwork, release information, and public profile information must not be deliberately false or misleading.

Only share work you control

Do not upload recordings, compositions, samples, artwork, photographs, logos, names, or other material unless you own it or have the rights and permissions required to make it available through Eco Music.

Rights concerns can be reported through Eco Music's reporting tools and Copyright & Takedown process.

No artificial platform manipulation

Do not artificially inflate plays, follows, saves, engagement, analytics, recommendations, or other platform activity through bots, automated accounts, deceptive techniques, or coordinated manipulation.

Keep Eco Music secure

Do not upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems, interfere with the operation of Eco Music, evade technical restrictions, scrape the service without permission, or exploit vulnerabilities.

Illegal, abusive, or exploitative activity

Eco Music must not be used to facilitate unlawful activity, fraud, exploitation, credible threats of violence, or other seriously harmful conduct.

Reporting concerns

Use the report actions available on Eco Music when you believe content or an account may violate these Guidelines, infringe rights, or create a safety concern.

Reports should be made in good faith. Do not knowingly submit false or abusive reports to target another artist or user.

How moderation works

Eco Music may review reported or potentially harmful content and may warn users, restrict features, unpublish content, remove content, or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary.

When deciding what action is appropriate, we may consider the seriousness of the conduct, context, previous violations, risks to users or rights holders, and whether the issue can reasonably be corrected without removing an account.

Questions and appeals

If you believe moderation action affecting your content or account was made in error, contact Eco Music through the Support page with relevant information about the decision.

Changes to these Guidelines

These Community Guidelines may be updated as Eco Music develops. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
