Respecting copyright

Eco Music respects the rights of artists, songwriters, producers, photographers, designers, labels, publishers, and other rights holders.

Only upload music, recordings, compositions, samples, artwork, photographs, names, or other material if you own it or have the rights and permissions required to make it available through Eco Music.

Reporting suspected infringement

If you believe content on Eco Music infringes copyright or another intellectual property right, you can report the relevant release or artist through Eco Music's reporting tools or contact us through the Support page.

A report should include enough information for us to understand and investigate it, including:

• your name and contact details;
• identification of the copyrighted work or material you believe you control;
• identification or a link to the Eco Music content concerned;
• an explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorised;
• information showing that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them; and
• confirmation that the information you provide is accurate and made in good faith.

What happens after a report

Eco Music may request additional information, contact the uploader, restrict access to disputed material, or temporarily unpublish content while a credible rights complaint is reviewed.

Where appropriate, we may provide the uploader with information about the complaint and give them an opportunity to explain their rights or provide supporting information.

Responses from artists

If your content is restricted or removed following a copyright complaint and you believe the complaint is mistaken, you may contact Eco Music through Support and provide an explanation together with evidence of your ownership, licence, permission, or other right to use the material.

Removal and restoration

Eco Music may remove or disable access to content where we reasonably believe it infringes rights, where required by law, or where sufficient rights information is not provided.

Content may be restored where the dispute is resolved or where Eco Music is reasonably satisfied that the uploader has the rights required to make it available.

Repeat infringement

Eco Music may restrict or terminate accounts involved in repeated or serious copyright infringement, taking into account the circumstances of each case.

False or misleading reports

Do not knowingly submit false, misleading, or abusive copyright reports. Copyright complaints should be made only where you genuinely believe you have a rights concern.

Legal notices

Rights holders with formal legal notices or court documents relating to content on Eco Music should contact us through the Support page and clearly identify the matter as a legal or copyright notice.
