Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Using Eco Music

These Terms govern your use of Eco Music. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to follow these Terms and any policies referenced in them.

You must use Eco Music lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the service, other users, artists, or third parties.

Your account

You are responsible for information provided through your account and for taking reasonable steps to keep your login details secure.

Do not impersonate another person or artist, create deceptive accounts, misuse another person's account, or provide materially false information about your identity or content.

Listener use

Eco Music gives listeners access to music and discovery features for personal use through the service. Unless expressly permitted, you must not copy, redistribute, sell, scrape, download, extract, or commercially exploit content made available through Eco Music.

Artist content

Artists retain ownership of the music, artwork, names, and other content they submit. When you submit artist content, you confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to provide that content to Eco Music.

Artist submissions are also governed by the Eco Music Artist Agreement, which explains the licence required for Eco Music to host, stream, display, and promote approved content.

Content review and moderation

Eco Music may review submissions and reports and may reject, restrict, unpublish, or remove content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, the Artist Agreement, the Community Guidelines, copyright requirements, or applicable law.

We may also take reasonable action against accounts involved in fraud, artificial play manipulation, infringement, harassment, security abuse, or other serious misuse.

Copyright and intellectual property

You must respect the intellectual property rights of artists, Eco Music, and third parties. Do not upload or use recordings, compositions, samples, artwork, photographs, trademarks, names, or other protected material unless you have the rights or permissions required to do so.

Suspected infringement can be reported through Eco Music's reporting tools or Copyright & Takedown process.

Prohibited conduct

You must not use Eco Music to:

  • break the law or infringe another person's rights;
  • upload malware or attempt to compromise the security of the service;
  • automatically scrape, copy, or extract content without permission;
  • manipulate plays, follows, analytics, recommendations, or other platform activity;
  • harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or deliberately mislead others;
  • circumvent moderation, access controls, or technical restrictions; or
  • use Eco Music in a way that materially disrupts the service for others.

Availability and changes

Eco Music is an evolving service. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed as the platform develops. We do not guarantee that every feature or item of content will always remain available.

Where reasonably practicable, we will try to avoid changes that unnecessarily interfere with users' legitimate use of the service.

Suspension and termination

Eco Music may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to address serious or repeated violations of these Terms, security risks, unlawful conduct, infringement, fraud, or abuse.

Users may request account deletion through the service. Removal of artist content is also subject to the Artist Agreement and any reasonable legal, moderation, or record-retention requirements.

No guaranteed results

Eco Music does not guarantee that an artist will be accepted, receive a particular number of plays or followers, earn revenue, obtain professional opportunities, or achieve any particular level of exposure through the service.

Responsibility for the service

Eco Music aims to provide a reliable service but interruptions, errors, maintenance, or technical problems may occur. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

Eco Music may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page. Continued use of the service after an update means the updated Terms will apply from that point, to the extent permitted by law.

Questions

Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the Eco Music Support page.
